Commissioned by The Crowood Press, Machine Knitter’s Guide to Partial Knitting is a comprehensive guide to the principles and practice of partial knitting, from foundational techniques through to more complex applications in garments and independent knit design.

I designed the cover and typeset the book from initial samples through to final layouts, carefully balancing detailed instructional copy with inspirational photography and clear, accessible charts. The book is set in Myriad, Museo Sans and Warnock, and features a considered palette of four colours across its 176 pages.
